Das Literaturschiff an der Frankenwerft ist an sich schon ein klasse Ort und unterhaltsam genug, über den Rhein in Richtung Rodenkirchen zu fahren, da könnte die Veranstaltung Nebensache sein. Wolf Haas beginnt pünktlich, noch bevor das Schiff ablegt.
Er sitzt allein auf der Bühne am Tisch – ohne Moderator, da man laut Intendant bereits 2002 in der Kulturkirche tolle Erfahrungen mit dem Autoren gemacht habe. Haas kommt auch gleich zur Sache; er steigt direkt in den Text ein und rattert das erste Kapitel mit seinem berüchtigten Schmankerl-Slang dem Publikum entgegen.Das zieht auch gleich mit und lacht in einer Tour zu den vorgetragenen Situationen vom Simon Brenner, genauer vom Brenner und dem lieben Gott.
Ich nutze die Gelegenheit und will ein paar Fotos vom bebenden Haas schießen, als ihn mein Blitz erwischt und er ins Publikum ruft: „Es wird den Leuten noch leid tun, die mich hier anblitzen und sie werden weinen“. Der Haas kann einen ja schon beeindrucken mit seinem Auftritt. Wenn er gerade nicht redet, sieht sogar angehend sympathisch aus, aber im Redefluss wirkt er wie ein Besessener. Zwischen den Leseblöcken gibt er auch einige Anekdoten zum besten; so erzählt er von seiner ersten Lesung und wie er dort aus den Online Postings der Zeitung „Standard“ zitierte, die seine Bücher und Person zum Thema hatten. Einer schreibt dort, Haas Bücher wären klasse, er würde sich nur wünschen, das er keine Hörbücher mehr liest, den dies wäre nicht auszuhalten.
Schüler und Schülerinnen Österreichs suchen derweil in Internetforen verzweifelt nach Inhaltsangaben und Interpretationen zum „Knochenmann“ und Wolf Haas selbst meint dazu, er würde seine eigenen Bücher wohl nicht lesen, wenn er Zusammenfassungen der mittlerweile 9 Romane in der Presse sieht. Ich selbst kann mir das auch sehr gut vorstellen, während ich der Geschichte lausche, in der es u.a. um eine Kindesentführung geht und der Brenner in langen Abschnitten eine vermeintliche Zeugin an der Tankstelle interviewt. Die Story wird von ihm in der typischen Haas-Manier „flaniert“. Jedoch komme ich nach einiger Zeit gut mit, bis eine unverhältnismäßig lange Pause von 20 Min. den ersten Teil der Lesung unterbricht.
Haas legt nach der Pause mit ein paar dezenten persönlichen Infos nach und liest dann weiter aus seinem Buch vor. Viel Privates gibt er tatsächlich heute nicht von sich preis, aber wenigstens kann ich zum Abschluss noch Fotos vom signierenden Haas schießen.
